Cwmbran under 11s welcomed Newbridge to their home ground on Sunday to what turned out to be a great game of Rugby from both sides. Newbridge started the game strong scoring the first try of the game, Cwmbran fought back with a well desrved try coming from Lewis Hopkins who dodged around Newbridge to score. At half time Newbridge were leading but Cwmbran fought even stronger in the second half with 2 more tries coming from Lewis, and Jak Clarke. Newbridge also fought back and in the final stages of the game both teams were drawing. With one last effort from Cwmbran, the ball was passed along the line reaching Lewis who ran up the side line to score the final try of the game. the final score being 20-15 to Cwmbran but a brilliant game for both sides.
